Come enjoy seasonal jazz music and drinks on BlackRock's "gem of Germantown" Rooftop Terrace! Featuring the impressive sounds of the Montgomery College Jazztet, this is a great way to support local artists and enjoy the winter season with your friends and family.

MC JAZZTET

The MC Jazztet, performs the ultimate in Modern and Traditional Jazz ranging from Early Jazz, Swing, Bebop, the cool of Miles Davis, Latin Jazz, and Jazz Fusion The ensembles is comprised of students, community members and home schooled students. The MC Jazz ensembles have performed for many community events and private events throughout the Washington DC metro area. MC Jazztet students have been accepted to some of the best music schools and conservatories in the nation. Some of the noted performances have been at the Glen Echo Ballroom, The Blues Alley Jazz Jam, The Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival and The Smithsonian Museum of American History. The Montgomery College Jazz program is under the direction of Alvin F. Trask.
