Outdoor Stage & Great Lawn Project
BlackRock Center for the Arts seeks to improve the aesthetic, functional, and safety aspects of our Outdoor Stage and Great Lawn spaces. With this project, we hope to expand our capacity for providing high quality outdoor programming to one of the most diverse communities in the nation. Ultimately, the project will help:
-
REVITALIZE the Outdoor Stage and Great Lawn spaces to provide high quality outdoor programming.
-
DISTINGUISH BlackRock Center for the Arts as a cultural arts organization, separate from the design and feel of the surrounding facades.
-
INVITE the community to utilize our Great Lawn as a space to meet, create, play, and relax.
-
ENHANCE aesthetic, functional, and safety aspects of the Outdoor Stage to expand capacity for outdoor concerts and events.
UPDATE: The proposal submission date is September 22, 2023.
