Carol Jones

As the Business Manager at BlackRock Center for the Arts since June of 2021, Carol Jones handles licensing, insurance, Payroll, Accounts payable and receivable, and HR functions including onboarding, references, and performance evaluations.

Before joining BlackRock, Carol worked at Theater J and Edge of the Universe Players in house management and ticket sales. She also taught summer camp around the DMV with CareActor, LLC. She worked as Compensation and Benefits Manager at the National Rural Electric Cooperative in Washington DC. She has been a lifelong participant in the arts--stage managing, producing, singing, dancing, and playing french horn and piano in college and in the local community theatre scene.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Business Administration from Butler University (Go Dawgs!) with additional graduate coursework in Business at Johns Hopkins University.
