CAMP HOURS

8:45 AM - Camp Check In Begins

Please do not arrive before 8:45 AM or you will be charged a before care fee.

9:00 AM - Camp Starts

9:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Camp

3:00 - 3:30 PM - Camp Check Out 

  • Please make sure campers are picked up by 3:30 PM, or they will be sent to after care (3:30-6:30 PM) and you will be charged after care fee.

    • Please make sure you have your ID ready at check out. Yes, every single time. 

    • Please make sure we have the names of everyone allowed to pick up your child from camp.

Please let us know if your child will be absent, so we can inform their counselors.

You will not be able to see your camper's roster until the Friday before camp for security purposes.

 

On the first day of camp, students will meet their counselors and group members. Groups are created by age. Please let me know immediately if you’d like your child in a group with another child/children. All students will start the day in our Mainstage Theatre and be dismissed from our BlackBox Theatre.

 

CAMPER MEDICATION

 

Should your camper need medication  (including over the counter, prescription and emergency medication) during the camp day, please fill out the attached Authorization for  Medication and Asthma Action Plan (please note that forms must be completed by physician). All medication and forms should be given to Camp Director or Education Director. NO MEDICATION CAN BE RECEIVED AT CAMP WITHOUT REQUIRED FORMS:

If you would like your camper to be able to apply sunscreen or bug spray at camp, please fill out the form below and bring the sunscreen or bug spray with you on the first day.

 WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

 

Each day, campers should bring the following items:

  • Non-perishable nut free lunch & utensils

    • Examples of places that have nut products: Chick-Fil-A, Five Guys, etc.​

  • Socks or dance shoes (There are no shoes permitted in the dance studio)​

Sugessted Items:

  • Water bottle (optional)

  • Non-perishable nut free snack (optional)

  • Medication (if applicable - see required form)

  • Bug spray and/or sunscreen (if applicable- see required form)

  • Sweater or jacket (our BlackBox Theatre gets cold)

Please note that BlackRock is not liable for any lost or stolen items brought to camp. We highly recommend all items are labeled and that campers do not bring any valuables.

We will provide a camp t-shirt on the first day of the camp session – there will be 1 t-shirt per student, even if that student is attending multiple sessions. On Fridays, students are encouraged to wear their t-shirt as it is camp t-shirt day and show day!

CAMP SHOWS

 

The campers have a performance on the last Friday of every session. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the show begins to 1. sign out your camper(s) and/or 2. view any art exhibit they may have in the lobby. Please note: if you have campers in both age groups, they all need to be signed out prior to the show times.Campers will be released immediately after the show is finished. 

 

InspireArts showcase:

2:45 PM (Doors open at 2:30 PM)

Performing Arts musicals:

Grades 3-5: 2:30 PM  (Doors open at 2:15 PM)

Grades 6-8: 3:15 PM (Doors open at 3:00 PM)

EVENTOS
