Welcome to Camp Runamok and the wackiest summer camp experience you could ever wish for! This musical has everything you love and fear about the summer camp experience, from the morning routine to corny camp skits and the ultimate talent show. Put away your technology and allow this nostalgic romp to take you on a journey of finding a place to belong, through the mighty highs and comic lows of Summer Camp!
Once upon a time... Talking frogs? A falling sky? A town full of confused folk? What is really happening and who can answer these questions? The librarian? The coach? The Mayor and town council? The sweet and smart-thinking Rachel? With song, dance, and a fast moving script, Thwacked! unfolds to reveal these and many other delightful characters as they attempt to unravel the mystery in a fairytale world.
Tonight's the night we've all been waiting for! Yes, Granny, who has retired from show business, will be honoring all of our favorite fairy tale characters! Who will win Best Female and Male Vocalist? Best Dramatic Scene? Best Choreography? And the coveted Best Villain Award? And don't forget to keep an eye on that nasty Big Bad Wolf as he tries to steal the treasured Granny Award.

Don't be afraid to be bold! You're out of this world! Campers will journey to places that only the arts can take them using theater, music, visual arts, and dance. Each day campers will immerse themselves in visual art, music, theater, and dance centered and interpreted around exploring new things, and not being afraid to do so. You might meet someone who's different from you - choose boldness and make a friend. We're all different in our own way, and we should celebrate that. Young artists create art projects, learn new songs, dances, and will engage in theatre games or short skits. At the end of each session, campers will have the opportunity to showcase their work on BlackRock’s Main Stage. BlackRock’s InspireArts is guaranteed to inspire a discovery of the arts in your camper – each summer will be fun, entertaining, and educational. The sky's not the limit! Each day campers will immerse themselves in visual art, music, theater, and dance centered and interpreted around being a seed for change for this world and all it's natural beauty. How can one person make a difference? It all starts with small steps! Young artists create art projects, learn new songs, dances, and will engage in theatre games or short skits. At the end of each session, campers will have the opportunity to showcase their work on BlackRock’s Main Stage. BlackRock’s InspireArts is guaranteed to inspire a discovery of the arts in your camper – each summer will be fun, entertaining, and educational. There are no limits to imagination and creativity! When many seeds come together, we can create a forest of good.

BlackRock's Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is returning this summer! Accepted applicants will serve as leaders and mentors in our Summer Youth Art Academy. This is the perfect opportunity for youth to build their professional skill set and earn SSL hours.
EL DEPORTE SE ENCUENTRA CON EL CAMPAMENTO DE LAS ARTES
BlackRock se asocia con elMaryland Soccerplex y Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse para traer un campamento de medio día de deportes y medio día de artes durante cinco semanas en junio y julio. Todas las actividades se llevarán a cabo en el Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse en Maryland Soccerplex, donde los artistas docentes de BlackRock involucrarán a los campistas en actividades de artes visuales.
